The Corporal Aaron Seal, USMC Rifle Range has a maximum range of 200 yards. Corporal Seal was KIA in Iraq. His Marine unit practiced their excavating skills on this range just before they shipped off to Iraq.
The minimum range is 100 yards. Target stands are provided and the tall stands are to be used at the 100 yard line, the short stands are for the 200 yard line.
Recently completed pistol bay work.
There are eight bays on the pistol range. Bays 1 through 6 and 8 are 25 yard ranges and bay 7 is 50 yards deep. Here are the widths of each bay for the course of fire designers...
1 - 12 yards
2 - 8 yards
3 - 17 yards
4 - 12 yards
5 - 14 yards
6 - 13 yards
7 - 13 yards
We have an archery safari for the Archers. Walking through our rolling hills and woods you will come across various bale targets.
RULES FOR ALL OUTDOOR RANGES
Keep gun pointed in a safe direction - downrange is usually the safest.
Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
Keep your gun unloaded until ready to use.
Know your target and what is beyond.
Use only paper, foam, cardboard, clay pigeons and steel targets designed for the action pistol/rifle/shotgun sports.
Do not shoot at steel targets that are closer than 23 feet.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Persons having consumed alcohol or drugs are prohibited from the ranges.
Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited from entering the range areas.
Shooters and spectators must wear eye and hearing protection while on the range.
Shooting is permitted only when all persons are behind the designated shooting line.
Please pickup and dispose of any trash that accumulates during your session.
All persons using the ranges are personally responsible for range safety and where the projectiles they fire go.
Any unsafe conditions must be reported immediately, contact info is in the mailbox by the door to the indoor range.
If more than one party would like to use a certain bay or range, each party will yield to the other party every 15 minutes.
Respect others and their equipment.

PISTOL BAY SAFETY RULES
Targets must be mounted to a target stand and ensure the bullet passes through the target into the backstop.
Do not shoot at objects that are simply placed on the ground.
Any handgun or handgun caliber firearm is allowed on bays 1 through 6.
Bay 7 may be used for short range rifle shooting, sighting in, tactical shotguns and other firearms.
The area to the west of bay 7 is the trap range.
There is a trap thrower and a 4x4 post for mounting a trap thrower; it's about 20 yards in on the north side.
This is the only area for trap shooting.
Clay pigeons are the only target for use in the trap area.

200 YARD RIFLE RANGE SAFETY RULES
This range is for 100 and 200 yard shooting only.
Use benches designated for respective distances only.
Use BORCC provided target stands placed with BORCC provided ground stand holders only.
Please do not take steel targets to the rifle range.
Shooting at the ground or objects on the ground is prohibited.
Cross lane or diagonal shooting is prohibited.
Any safe rifle, shotgun with slugs and/or rifled barrel, muzzle loader or handgun is permitted.
It is the shooters responsibility to ensure that the rounds are going into the berm or back stop.
Short range rifle or shotgun is permitted in Pistol Bay 7; it's a 50 yard bay.

OUTDOOR ARCHERY RANGE SAFETY RULES
All shooting is to be into bales and/or safety backstops.
Do not shoot at anything else.
Do not knock an arrow until ready to shoot.
Shoot field tips only at bales, no broad-heads.
Please use care when stepping onto or off of the platforms.
